art japan 2019: pop & modern japanese art

More than 70 pop and modern art works will be exhibited by 35 Japanese artists. This exhibition will explore the artistic scene in Japan as a cultural superpower crossing a number of mediums and themes from Fine Art to Illustration and Pop Art to Modernism and beyond. This exhibition is presented as part of Melbourne Fringe Festival 2019.
Featuring works by Takaaki Mano, Midori McCabe, Seri Hano, Daigo Matsuki, Keiko Takemasa, Shiroki, Rune, Tsuyoshi Seko, Kenji, Naomi Kametani, miko, Kyoko Harano, Tadao Shoji, Natsuko Poe, Gassea, Kiyo, Mikiko Omori, Happy, Lisa Suzuki, Kigisu, Tetsuji Shirakawa, Masumi Senoo, Kenji Iwasaki, Akane Asano, Chiseong, Karesu Ayakata, Arisa Okazaki, Kyo, Ayato, Masako Takamasu, Yu Sagara, Kinran Kamataki, Kisho Tokutomi, Ryo Kuwata and Tomoya Onoue.
