Where Yellow and Blue Collide (Olley’s Horizon): KAREN STEPHENS
7 – 19 NOVEMBER 2019

This series of paintings were made while in residence at the Margaret Olley Centre, Tweed Regional Gallery, NSW. Against a green vista and adopting landscape as Olley’s stage, I closely observe the impermanence of light and its relationship to still objects; a continual cycle of connectivity and falling apart.

This project was made possible by the Australian Government's Regional Arts Fund, which supports the arts in regional and remote Australia. The fund is provided through Regional Arts Australia and is administered in Queensland by Flying Arts Alliance.
