Vivienne Adeney is an emerging printmaker from Naarm/Melbourne. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from RMIT University in 2023.
Her work explores the intricate tapestry of life on our water-rich planet, highlighting the ubiquitous presence of aqueous connections. She finds that this shared reliance on water not only unites us but also intertwines us with the bodies of various plants, animals, and bacteria as water flows through us and between us. As a result, she finds that we become a part of these life forms, and they, in turn, become an integral part of us.
