GROUP EXHIBITION CALL OUT

Photography has often been characterised as a kind of mirror, a surface reflecting the appearance of the world around us. While many artists are attracted to the camera for its uncanny ability to mirror and record reality, others see in photography an opportunity to poetically express the subjectivity of truth and the distortion of memory. Reality and its Double is a group photography exhibition of works that blur the boundary between fact and fiction, the world and the image, reality and its double.

Exhibition Dates: 9 May—26 May
Opening Night: Friday 10 May, 6—8pm

Exhibition fee:

For 1-2 artwork the exhibiting fee is $60 each, or for 3+ artworks the fee is $50 each.

Only artworks accepted for exhibition will be liable for a fee.

Terms:

Up to 6 artworks will be accepted from artists working in mediums: photography; photographic collage.

Artwork must measure 50x50cm or under. Works larger than 50cm on any side may attract a higher fee.

The gallery takes 30% commission on all sales.

We require artists, once their proposal has been accepted, to sign an artist agreement outlining artist and gallery's rights and responsibilities.
