This show presents a series of self-portrait photographs in which the artist performs half-forgotten religious rituals by rote. Exploring themes of cultural identity, spirituality and belonging, Stories I’ve Been Told is one artist’s documented investigation into her memories of a childhood spent on the fringes of an alternative religious community.
